Made my own custom stencil. Drew an outline. Then using software thickened the line and made it a dashed line. I imported into cutting machine software and selected cut on edge and moments later a perfect stencil from my drawing. Loving technology. #silhouettecameo #quilting
Not the best picture but the quilt top is done. Sandwich, quilt, bind, and label to go! So happy with it so far⦠it is about 75 inches square.
Took a break from sewing to make up some flower pots for the back deck. This is the only garden we will have this year. First time not having a vegetable garden in a very long time but looking forward to supporting our local farmers. Fingers crossed they last⦠lol.

Drafted a circular double wedding ring border, with some embroidery in center pieces. This involves some serious S curve piecing. I pin every half inch, then baste an 1/8th inch and sew 1/4 inch seam. The results are lying flat so far⦠Slow and steady I am getting thereâ¦#doubleweddingringquilt #quilting

Template testing⦠The next border is round, loosely based on DNA and my version of single wedding ring in the round. Used Bernina Designer software to help digitize and draft the templates. Massive mind challenge to sew it together the first time, but There is a fairly straightforward flow to the assembly. Came out the right size and lying pretty flat ⦠I will call that progress and now it is time to play with the pretty fabrics ð #quilting
