Dividing my time between sewing and sifting through my father in law’s possessions. He and my mother in law left behind so much. We find treasures every day reminding us of a well lived life. This is a quilt I made them back in 1998, in honor of their 40th wedding anniversary. A double wedding ring, machine pieced and hand quilted. The label was also hand done on muslin with permanent ink. Only ever displayed, never used. It has come back to me. I washed and dried it and it is going on the guest bed. Missing them both today. #quilting

The completed Chuppah for my son’s wedding. My husband used 30+ year old oak from his father’s land and designed and built the beautiful wooden structure using no nails or screws. The pieces simply interlock. The canopy is a quilt designed and constructed by myself. I included the initial rough sketch. A true labor of love for an amazing couple. Wishing them much love and happiness. Thanks for all the feedback along the way. #quilting #chuppahs
