Dividing my time between sewing and sifting through my father in lawâs possessions. He and my mother in law left behind so much. We find treasures every day reminding us of a well lived life. This is a quilt I made them back in 1998, in honor of their 40th wedding anniversary. A double wedding ring, machine pieced and hand quilted. The label was also hand done on muslin with permanent ink. Only ever displayed, never used. It has come back to me. I washed and dried it and it is going on the guest bed. Missing them both today. #quilting

Woke up in our little camper, up near Acadia, and noticed this little quilt I made years ago, from some William Morris fabric scraps I got at Keepsake Quilting summer sale, so long ago, when Keepsake was in NH. Too small for a bed, it is perfect size for our camper. Oh so pretty in the morning sunshine. Simple pleasures. #quilting #campinglife

The completed Chuppah for my sonâs wedding. My husband used 30+ year old oak from his fatherâs land and designed and built the beautiful wooden structure using no nails or screws. The pieces simply interlock. The canopy is a quilt designed and constructed by myself. I included the initial rough sketch. A true labor of love for an amazing couple. Wishing them much love and happiness. Thanks for all the feedback along the way. #quilting #chuppahs

Made my own custom stencil. Drew an outline. Then using software thickened the line and made it a dashed line. I imported into cutting machine software and selected cut on edge and moments later a perfect stencil from my drawing. Loving technology. #silhouettecameo #quilting

Drafted a circular double wedding ring border, with some embroidery in center pieces. This involves some serious S curve piecing. I pin every half inch, then baste an 1/8th inch and sew 1/4 inch seam. The results are lying flat so far⦠Slow and steady I am getting thereâ¦#doubleweddingringquilt #quilting
