Mother of the groom dress âthank youâs. The dress is based on #stokxbirdydress with several modifications which Melinda Stokes, the designer behind Stokx pattern guided me through. The dress has the curve collar, with the puff reach sleeve with an increased flared skirt, and hi/low hem. The dress is made of lightweight linen underlined with a bemberg rayon lining, which I struggled with and would never have completed without expert advice from #brooksanncamper a superb instructor for sewing for your body, and an expert in so many construction methods. A big thank you to both of these professionals. My day was made infinitely better wearing a dress made for me and by me. I couldnât have done it without you both!
